Joren Communications on working on the SANRAL Website Content Management System Upgrade Project

This year, Joren Communications worked with SANRAL (The South African National Roads Agency Ltd) to upgrade their corporate website.
SANRAL’s previous Content Management System (CMS) for the corporate website was cluttered and disorganised. Our team worked closely with the SANRAL team to develop and design an upgraded CMS with a modern look that is compatible with mobile and tablet devices.
For this project, our team was tasked by SANRAL to re-design and upgrade the content management system using WordPress.
The web team led the project and recounted working on it as hectic due to the heavy content that had to be migrated.
The team recounts working on the project as an exciting journey because it challenged them and provided room to innovate and bring new solutions. New solutions included the tender upgrade system with an automated expiring and archiving system that enables supply chain practitioners to quickly load tenders and expire them with one click.
The CMS upgrade project started on the 14th of July 2020 and led to the launch on the 21st of August 2020, ushering a great success and collaboration between SANRAL and Joren Communications.
