During the course of this year Joren Communications worked alongside SANRAL (The South African National Roads Agency Ltd) on upgrading their corporate website content management system.
SANRAL’s previous Content Management System (CMS) for the corporate website was cluttered, disorganized and our team worked closely with the SANRAL team to develop and design an upgraded CMS with a modern look that is compatible with mobile and tablet devices.
For this particular project our team was tasked by SANRAL to re-design and upgrade the content management system using WordPress.
The project was led by the web team and they recount working on the project as hectic due to the heavy content that had to be migrated.
The team recounts working on the project as an exciting journey, because it challenged them and provided room to innovate and bring new solutions. New solutions included the upgrade tender system with automated expiring and archiving system that enable supply chain practitioners to easily load tenders and expire them with one click.
The CMS upgrade project started on the 14th of July 2020 and lead to the launch on the 21st of August 2020 ushering a great success and collaboration between SANRAL and the Joren Communications.
