Pretoria, Gauteng: Joren Communications (Pty) Ltd t/a JOREN DIGITAL is delighted to declare that it has won the highly sought-after SABC Election Website account. We are confident in our ability to develop an outstanding website and mobile application, and we stand committed to delivering a top-notch product by the end of February 2024.

The contract includes website development and mobile application development. The website will be built on WordPress, with frontend using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and JSON. The backend will be built with PHP, and the database will be MariaDB. The server OS will be Alma Linux, and the web server will be NginX. The mobile application will be developed for iOS and Android using Ionic/React Native.

“We are incredibly thrilled about our collaboration with the SABC as an agency. On a personal note, it almost feels like a dream come true, especially considering that 30 years ago, in 1994, I was just starting my journey in grade 1 schooling. Today, our agency has been entrusted with the task of creating an election website for the public broadcaster,” the managing director of JOREN DIGITAL Rendani Nevhulaudzi said, expressing his excitement about this huge achievement.

“Additionally, we will be developing a mobile application that is set to be used by millions of people throughout South Africa. This opportunity is both a testament to our team’s expertise and a significant milestone in our journey as a democratic country, a true reflection of transformation,” he concluded.
